Daily Prompt: The Transporter
Tell us about a sensation — a taste, a smell, a piece of music — that transports you back to childhood.
Well, I didn’t like to eat anything specifically when I was young. (Even though now I’m really obsessing with eating curries and many other kinds of food.) You can well say that, as a child, I don’t like eating. I used to don’t want to eat foods. But after I went to the United States of America, my life changed, to normal. Now I love foods just like other people haha. For a piece of music, I love music. Since when I was young until now, I really feel like music is a part in my life and plays a big role in everything. I love music, especially classical. I think it’s because I love playing piano and listen to instruments. I also like pop and jazz and maybe hip hop. But again, I didn’t specifically love any piece of music. So I think for this daily prompt, I think I will talk about a specific smell that transports me in to my childhood. It may sounds weird but it’s a smell of a hospital. When I was young, I used to go to the hospital very often, at least a month I will say. I was really weak and caught cold very often. I can remember the smell of the hospital very clear in my mind even thought I haven’t been there for almost a year already. (happy) But it wasn’t all that bad in the hospital. It’s true that the feeling of being sick is very suck. If cut that part out, I really love being in the hospital. My doctor is very kind and nice. I also love the hospital foods. The nurses were very nice to me because they can remember me since I went there a lot. So basically, I love hospital.
